CREATIVE talents are being called upon to ensure a village community stays strong.
An art exhibition is planned at Mellor Village Hall on Sunday, between 2pm and 5pm.
The event is in aid of the hall's building fund, which has an appeal target of £250,000 to provide disabled access and an extension for family services.
Artist Harry Caunce and his students are putting on a display, along with pupils from St Mary's School, Mellor, Mellor China Pottery group and Britannia Gallery, of Mellor Brook.
Other artist are being encouraged to take part.
