NEEDY children are toasting an ice stadium.
For Blackburn Arena's 10th anniversary celebration has raised £4,000 for the NSPCC.
A crowd of more than 1,000 turned up at the Arena last month to watch 50 star players past and present take part in a festival to mark a decade of the Blackburn Hawks.
Mike Cockayne, chairman of the organisers, said: "We hoped the event would be popular, but it even exceeded our expectations, it was a truly great night."
