DETECTIVES say a man arrested in connection with a suspicious explosion at a Blackburn take-away is still not well enough to be questioned.
The blast, involving gas, ripped through two shops and badly damaged a third in King Street, Bank Top early on Wednesday.
Hina Takeaway and Restaurant, plumbers merchant Joshua Grimshaw Ltd and Bank Top General Store were affected.
The injured man, thought to be a taxi driver, was taken to Blackburn Royal Infirmary suffering from burns following the explosion and later transferred to the Royal Preston Hospital.
The police investigation is on-going.
