DETECTIVES are still waiting to question a man injured in an explosion which destroyed an Indian takeaway in Blackburn.
Majid Hussain suffered serious burns in the blast at the Heena takeaway on Bank Top last week.
He was arrested and is under police guard at the Royal Preston Hospital.
Detectives say they are unlikely to be able to talk to him before next week.
Takeaway owner Zaheer Iqbal Ali, 23, of Lancaster Place, Blackburn, has been charged with conspiracy to commit arson at the premises, being reckless as to whether life would be endangered.
He is in custody pending an appearance at crown court.
