IWOULD like to thank Blackburn with Darwen Council for allowing my friends and I to attend a science study seminar at Disneyland, Paris, earlier this year.
I am a 16-year-old student who regularly attends the Study Support Centre. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit and, for many of the students, it was the first time they had visited another European country.
In exchange for our work and assignments during the seminar, we were rewarded with a day at Disneyland. The visit provided us with the opportunity to interact with students from all over England, who had also attended the seminar, as well as students from different schools in Blackburn with Darwen.
Finally, I would like to say a big 'thank you' to everyone who was involved in making this one of the best visits that my friends and I have attended.
I hope many other visits to foreign countries with the Study Support Centre will continue, thus allowing the youth of Blackburn and Darwen to broaden their horizons.
