THE St Helens schoolboys maintained their unbeaten run and booked their place in the Lancashire Cup final with a hard-fought victory in which every player gave his all.
Ashburn Alexander Finance man-of-the-match was Gary Wheeler, closely followed by Sean Forber and the top tackling Andy Donovan.
Try scorers were Mike Haggerty, Phil Whyte, Dave Houghton and Shaun Magennis, with Jamie Foster adding four conversions.
Others worthy of mention were Mike Welsby and Chris McGrath.
