PORTICO Panthers host one of the biggest junior rugby league tournaments in the North West over the weekend of June 9 and 10 at Scholes Lane playing fields, Grange Park.
The tournament, which is being sponsored by NatWest Bank in St Helens, is now in its seventh year. Organisers expect to attract 48 teams over six different age groups.
As well as teams from St Helens, Wigan, Warrington, Leigh, Oldham and Widnes, representatives are also expected from Halifax and Newcastle.
There will be 750 children aged between six and 15 playing over two days, commencing at 10.30am.
