I FEEL compelled to write to let everyone know about the worst case of heavy-handed policing I have ever witnessed.

If I had not experienced it for myself I would not have believed it. I was in the Warehouse on Friday night and was buying a drink when suddenly the bar staff started to panic that armed robbers were breaking in. These big men, all in black with covered faces shining torches in your face, burst into the club and started screaming at us all to put our hands on our heads. Then we realised they were policemen!

They knocked glasses on the floor, everywhere was covered in broken glass, they waved truncheons and shoved people about and were shouting at us to put our hands on our heads. I was really scared and was pushed onto the dancefloor. I was searched (they found nothing) they wouldn't let me get my coat and they told me to speak into a video (which I didn't want to do - I hadn't done anything wrong!)

Everyone felt really shaken up and abused afterwards and I couldn't sleep until the next day. I'm scared to have my name printed because I just can't trust the police any more.
