GENERAL election hopefuls were put on the spot at a question time at Edgeside Baptist Church.
Labour's Janet Anderson and Conservative's George Lee were joined by Chris Thayne, who represented Liberal Democrats Brian Dunning.
Three prepared questions were answered first on why should anyone vote, why successive Government's have allowed National Lottery profits to be milked and what difference to law and order on Edgeside they would make.
Chairman the Rev Roger Taylor said: "We had a lot of questions on the NHS, on law and order, payment of overseas debt, the level of income tax and euthanasia."
