BLACKPOOL, apart from fresh air, excels in extracting money.
The closure of old people's rest homes is just a blind to further the extraction process. So they get another £20,000,000 on the regeneration process.
Like the £70,000,000, it will be frittered away on projects. For example, the Civic news, £55,000. Toilets for Councillors, £250,000.
Replenishing Queen Street. Resurfacing Birley Street six times et al. Then baiting the hook by trying to kill off the elderly. Blackpool looks after its people? Blackpool has a rotten core. Unfortunately, the fresh air will not revive the town.
