BIG-hearted taxi driver Peter Urbanowski has had to call off a charity climb after being struck down by ill health.
Peter, from Fox Place, St Helens, had planned to scale Ben Nevis in September in aid of the British Epilepsy Foundation.
But doctors have advised him not to go ahead with the attempt after he suffered a brain haemorrhage and stroke last month.
Peter, who has already climbed Scotland's highest peak for charity several times before, would like to thank everyone who had already sponsored him for the event and says that anyone who would like to their sponsorship money back can contact him on 01744 755101.
Alternatively, he says he will donate the money already donated to the charity.
