HERE'S a chance to enjoy a walk in the park and help a good cause at the same time.
Sponsorship forms are now available at Lloydspharmacy store in St Helens for the Diabetes UK Walk in the Park at 11am on Sunday, June 10 at Sherdley Park.
Throughout June, walks will be taking place in 20 parks across the country, designed to raise awareness about diabetes and funds to help research into the problem that currently effects more than 1.4 million people in the UK. The walks are completely free to enter and are open to everyone -- whether you decide to run the course or take a leisurely stroll with the family, stopping for a picnic on the way.
Lloydspharmacy is sponsoring the Walk in The Park project for the second year running as part of its on-going commitment increasing awareness of diabetes.
