A FIRE crew was called out to a home for the elderly after staff smelled burning.
But officers were unable to locate the source of the smoke odour at the Parklands Home in Lily Hill Street, Whitefield.
The Whitefield fire crew spent 45 minutes at the home on Monday (May 28) and carried out checks.
However, they were unable to discover any burning within the premises.
