POLICE chiefs have vowed to investigate reports of under-age drinking and criminal damage caused by youths gathering in Morley Street and Millers Lane, Atherton, and South Lane, Astley.
The vow came at the first meeting of Leigh's new police forum, the Public Voice on Policing, held at Leigh Town Hall last month.
Residents also voiced concerns that future meetings would not be held in Astley, Tyldesley or Atherton.
