DAREDEVILS are being urged to "jump" to it and help raise funds for a Bury hospital.
For the Wellington pub in Bolton Road, Bury, is staging a charity bungee jump in its car park on Bank Holiday Monday, August 27. Those who take the plunge will drop 190ft from a giant crane.
The Wellington needs 40 bungee jumpers to enable them to pay for the crane hire. So far, there are 35 volunteers.
Anyone else who is willing to take part and help raise cash for Fairfield Hospital's special care baby unit, should ring the Wellington on 761 5793 and ask for either Darren or Tracey.
