FLOORING products manufactured by a Whitefield company have been installed in the accident and emergency department at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
Around 300 sq metres of Polyflor Kudos wood effect vinyl plank flooring, together with Polyflor 2000 PU and Polysafe Standard heavy duty and safety sheet vinyls, have been fitted in various colours.
The products are made by commercial flooring specialists, Polyflor Ltd.
And the flooring features inlaid fish designs, created via the Polyflor expressions design service.
This involves the use of computerised water jet cutting techniques to produce a variety of precise shapes and styles for inlaid decoration.
The flooring has been extended one metre up the walls to provide a "basin" effect, improving hygiene standards and offering no sanctuary for dirt and bacteria.
