I HAVE recently returned from Aston University, Birmingham, where the 35th World Triennial Convention of WWCTU (a Christian organisation) was held. Approximately 150 delegates attended from 23 countries.
Concern was expressed over the worldwide problems of alcohol, drugs and gambling. Also the heath issues involved and the effects on family life.
It was a very interesting experience meeting people from so many different countries and getting a better understanding of other countries' traditions.
