IT sounds well when Utd star Ryan Giggs has bought his mum a new £800,000 mansion in Worsley -- from the £2m he is expected to have raised from his testimonial year.
A tribute year at the age of 27! As though he needs one with the money he earns. It's ridiculous. In the days when players earned 20 quid a week it was different.
I don't blame HIM though. I condemn the barmpot fans who back these unnecessary fund raisers. They must be bonkers.
