THERE will be a sponsored walk from Wigan to St Helens on Saturday, Sept 1 to raise money for children with leukaemia.
So far the walkers - St Trinian's on a Rampage - have already raised £1,100 and are hoping to beat last year's total of £6,500. Proceeds will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital for research into children's leukaemia.
The walk leaves Wigan at midday and all donations and sponsorship are welcome. The group would also like to thank Hurst's Coaches for providing a coach to transport participants to Wigan.
