ACCRINGTON Flower and Garden Club is currently looking to recruit new green-fingered members.
The group meets once a month for demonstrations and presentations at the King Street Music and Sports Bar as well as making visits to garden centres and other venues of interest.
At this month's meeting members were entertained by demonstrator Elizabeth Lindsey who made up several flower arrangements using a variety of unusual containers in a talk entitled 'First Find Your Container'.
The next presentation will be by Margaret Lochhead on September 18 and non-members are welcome to go along for a fee of £4 and see what the meetings involve.
