THE chapel in Hindley Cemetery was damaged last night after vandals set fire to the door. Firefighters were called out to the cemetery in Wigan Road at 8.40pm after a council worker on patrol spotted the blaze and contained it until they arrived. The chapel was smoke-logged and the door damaged in the blaze.
