IT WILL be child's play with serious intent when the Darwen Library Players stage You Should See Us Now.

The Peter Tinniswood piece features Pamela the bully, Ernest the bumbler and the aloof Sheila, who all attend a party where the adult guests turn up the way they were when they were children.

It gives Tinniswood and the Darwen players the opportunity to explore how childhood labels and experiences shape character in later life.

You Should See Us Now will be presented on September 21 and 22 at Darwen Library Theatre, starting at 7.30pm.
