THERE is no excuse for any child being intimidated on the way to school in Belfast or anywhere else.
Children under 11 cannot defend themselves and for adults to cause fear and trauma to them is despicable. Their parents, too, must not be threatened.
Already a policeman has been injured by a pipe bomb in protecting these children. Before a child is injured, or worse, this protest must be resolved quickly. Schooldays should be the happiest for little ones.
