THE Rudolph Steiner Acorn parents and toddler group will hear a talk by Johnny Nicholls, one of the first to study the Steiner philosophy, on September 19.

The group, which was started a year ago at the home of Sheila Clarkson, in Wiswell, focuses on educating children in a non-goal orientated environment.

Eighteen families currently take their children, aged six months to three years, to the morning sessions, and it is hoped that if enough interest is generated, a kindergarten, for youngsters up to six-and-a-half, will be set up in the future.

The talk by Mr Nicholls begins at 7.30pm at Station House, Whalley, just off Mitton Road.
