A LANCASTER firm is set to unveil a new £700,000 extension to its building this week.
Dennison Trailers is due to open its 3,600sq ft office building and 4,400sq ft factory extension at Caton Road today (Thursday) with former Blackpool and Bolton Wanderers striker Paul Fletcher doing the honours.
The family owned firm has seen production increase from 500 units per year five years ago to 1,500 this year.
At the same time, it has expanded three times. It employs 50 people and the latest expansion programme has created eight new jobs.
The Lancaster operation is run by a youthful team headed by managing director James Dennison and his cousin, production director Richard Dennison both 31 and living locally.
According to James Dennison, the project represents a major milestone in the growth of the company.
