A BY-election is to be held in the Huncoat and Immanuel wards of Hyndburn on Thursday, October 11.
The Huncoat seat became vacant after the resignation of Douglas Deakin at the end of last month.
Immanuel is vacant after Maureen Duffy resigned due to ill health.
Anyone whose name appears on the current Electoral Register can apply for a postal vote but applications close at 5pm on October 3.
