CONTROVERSIAL plans for housing and industrial units at Halton Mills are set to go before councillors again next week.
Members of the council's planning and highways committee will consider on Monday whether to allow a consortium to go ahead with extensive plans for the former industrial site.
A referendum of villagers by the parish council recommended that the scheme be blocked, although residents also indicated that some development should take place on the site.
