AFTER another Hallowe'en, isn't it time people were told about the absurdity of witches, fairies, ghosts, etc, which have been used to terrorise the public for centuries and divide them from their land, goods and money?

In these modern times, shouldn't the Church speak out and admit that these excursions into the unknown were just ploys used by them to keep the people afraid and to dominate them?

People will no longer tolerate many concepts of an ancient doctrine that doesn't make any sense to them.

Can we all now be relieved from the sheer hypocrisy of religious superstition in ghosts, ghouls, the Devil, saints, exorcism and all things that go bump in the night?
