THINGS got hot in a curry house when an assembly worker was given the wrong meal.
Burnley Magistrates heard how Francis Kearney, 48, complained after being given half his money back and continued to protest after being escorted from the Burnley takeaway.
Kearney, of Lyndsay Street, Burnley, who has no criminal convictions, admitted breaching the peace. He was bound over in the sum of £200 for 12 months to keep the peace.
Joanne Shahzada, prosecuting, said Kearney had been drinking, refused to leave and wasn't happy about being escorted away. He was shouting, swearing and trying to get back in.
John Greenwood, defending, said Kearney's behaviour had been totally out of character.
He had had a lot to drink, ordered a particular meal and when something completely different was brought to him, he was paid half his money back. Kearney apologised for his behaviour.
