LOOKING at the picture in your Memories of East Lancashire supplement of a worker painting yellow no-parking lines in Burnley in 1965 (LET, October 19), my memory of those days is of everyone saying" Beware of the yellow peril."
We thought it meant the Chinese Army. It's funny now, but it wasn't in those days.
