PARENTS of pupils at Higher Lane Junior School have been invited to a meeting on Wednesday evening (Nov 14) to discuss the proposed merger with the neighbouring Infant school.
As reported in the Bury Times, the governing body of the struggling junior school objected to the announcement from Bury LEA that it wanted to amalgamate the two schools.
Governors sent out a letter to parents this week inviting them to discuss the situation before responding to the proposals.
