THREE young thugs are being hunted by police after they beat and robbed a 22-year-old man.
Their victim was punched and kicked to the floor after he made his way home at 11pm on Thursday (Nov 1).
The man got off a tram at the Heaton Park Metrolink station and made a phone call on his mobile, before walking to Whittaker Lane.
According to police, he was approached by the three young men who launched a vicious attack on him. They made off with his phone and a small amount of cash.
The victim was taken to North Manchester General Hospital for treatment to facial injuries. He was later allowed home.
