SO the IRA takes the "historic" step to decommission some of its weapons. Only they know just how many weapons, and how much explosives they have. Even if they sacrifice 75 per cent of their stocks in this "historic" action, just how much will be left should they decide to renage on any agreement?
Loyalists insist they will not hand over any of their weapons, and I can't see the IRA leaving themselves defenceless.
