Sir,

REGARDING the response to my letter that your faith would be so acceptable in some Islamic states that death would be one penalty for being a Christian, my point is that the Government needs to act now, given that we already harbour known terrorists who use our system of justice to appeal, and appeal at our expense, while claiming benefits and having access to large sums of money.

We need to close our borders to all at this present time, while we attempt to investigate the genuine asylum seekers from the illegal immigrants -- the latter I fear being the most prevailing.

All religions have fanatics and I do not believe the Koran and its true followers will heed bin Laden's call for all-out war.

But those who have been incited to return to fight for Islam in the name of bin Laden should not be allowed to return to the country that welcomed them and did not, for years, offend them with our western ways.

They, by answering his call, are a threat to our society, naming army bosses and Downing Street as legitimate targets. A great many economists of different religions have lived in harmony in our country and, in most cases, contributed to the economy.

But for those that wish to bite the hand that feeds, them I can see no alternative but to reunite them with the land of their choice.
