A SUCCESSFUL Robbie Williams tribute band is seeking a female backing vocalist from the Leigh area.
The successful applicant, who should have some keyboard skills, will replace a member of Robbie's Angels who is five months pregnant.
Senior member of the semi-pro five-piece group formed at the start of this year is Leigh-based guitarist Dave Isherwood.
He played with local groups in the sixties and was chosen to join the young foursome Alex Aitken (Robbie), Samantha Marsh from Westhoughton on drums, Lynn Ashton bass, and Nicole Sylvt, the singer keyboard player who is leaving.
The group, which performs throughout the UK and abroad, is flying high at the moment and is regarded as the supreme Robbie Williams' tribute band in the North-west.
Dave said he taught the younger ones all he knows -
it took about 10 minutes.
The group's biggest gig to date has been the Mathew Street festival in Liverpool, the biggest city festival in Europe which attracts over 350,000 music fans.
They have dates in November and December at Bolton, Stockport, York, Chester and Kirkcaldy.
Anyone who would like to audition for the group should contact Dave on 01942 671699.
