JEFFREY Park's temporary job went flat when he was caught stealing Coca Cola vouchers he was meant to be putting in promotional packs.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Park was reported by another worker to management at Granby Marketing Services and they instigated a search. And when he was interviewed by police Park described his action as "a moment of madness."
Park, 39, of Foxhouse Street, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to stealing vouchers worth £16. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £75 costs.
Park, who was not represented by a solicitor, said he was deeply ashamed of his behaviour. "I am at a loss to explain how I could be so foolish," he said.
