POLICE are still appealing for witnesses to an attack on a schoolboy who had cleaning fluid squirted into his face.
The incident happened a week ago yesterday in Ormerod Road, Burnley, as the 15-year-old boy and three friends were returning from lunch to St Theodore's RC High School.
Three teenagers ran from a side street and sprayed the substance, described as a low-level cleaning fluid, into his face.
The boy was allowed home after hospital treatment and returned to school the next day.
The incident happened at 1.45pm on Thursday, November 1, and any witnesses are asked to contact PC Richard Collopy on 01282 425001 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
