BUSY bees from St Joseph's RC School, Stacksteads, took part in a host of fund-raising activities to raise £363.60 for Barnardo's charity.
Acting headteacher Jan Gibson said: "The children were sponsored for colouring pictures and completing word searches and quizzes. All the children who took part received a book mark and there are busy bees for children who got ten or more sponsors."
Children were presented with their busy bees at an assembly when they also presented the cheque.
