YOUNG wizards made a special appearance for a spellbinding showing of the new Harry Potter film.
'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' is expected to break box office records when it goes on general release on Friday.
But fans of the trainee wizard and his tales of adventure at Hogwart's School donned fancy dress for a magical treat at a sneak preview of the movie in Blackburn.
The film of the book, starring 12-year-old schoolboy Daniel Radcliffe as Harry, was premiered last week.
The preview was shown at the Apollo Cinema in Blackburn's King William Street on Saturday.
