Skelmersdale United 1 Atherton Colls 2

Trailing to a Stuart Rudd goal after only six minutes Colls levelled on 57 minutes when the impressive Martin Sloan set up Nicky Fisher to fire home from six yards.

Lady Luck smiled down on Colls in injury time when a hopeful left foot attempt from Ryan Cain looped up and over the home keeper for a last gasp winner. Front-runner Sloan was nominated as the Kensite man of the match.

Atherton LR 0 Abbey Hey 1

LR had most of the possession and the majority of the match was played in the visitor's half, but poor passing meant chances were kept to a minimum. Leading scorer Barry Massay turned the ball over the bar from close range in the first half and two concerted assaults on Abbey's goal in the second period saw some frantic defending by the visitors, but they did enough to keep LR out. The vital only goal of the game came from Darren McConnelly in the 30th minute.

Alsager Town 2 Daisy Hill 1

DAISY tried hard but never seriously worried third in the North West Counties League division two table Alsager.

Midfielder Neil Melling had an outstanding game, crowning a man of the match performance with Daisy's goal.

Belper Town 0 Radcliffe Boro 1

BORO rode their luck at bottom three side Belper to extend their lead at the top of the Unibond Division One to five points. The home side played some neat football but found Boro keeper Danny Hurst in great form. Boro's Scott Wilson had been relieved to see the referee ignore home pleas for a handball penalty on the half hour and he rubbed salt in the wound on 68 minutes with a volley from the edge of the area which earned his side maximum points.

Gt Harwood Town 0

Ramsbottom United 2

Carl Brown made a triumphant return for a second spell with the Rams picking up the man of the match award in a very impressive away win. The end product on some fine football finally came on 67 minutes when Steve Orrell stooped low to head Phil Porter's cross into the bottom corner. Brown, who re-signed for Rammie on the Friday after a spell at Stand Athletic, hit the bar before Danny Goodall set David Yorke-Robinson free to fire into the top corner for the second on 77 minutes. In the dying moments Jamie Taylor and a Great Harwood player were involved in a set-to and both shown red cards.
