REGARDING your report about toys being stolen from the grave of toddler Kirsty Wright (LET, December 18), it must be very upsetting and stressful to anyone who is bereaved when this kind of thing happens.

Sadly, I don't think there is any way to put a stop to it.

The only alternative is to give the toys to a hospital or children's home, or to some poor family who can't afford toys for their children -- in memory of the child who has departed.

It would put a stop to the robberies and would bring happiness and still be a memory of the loved one you have lost
