POLICE are appealing for anyone with information about a bag snatch attack in Colne Road, Burnley.
The incident happened at 10.10pm on Friday near the Co-operative Funeral Directors building near Hebrew Road.
The 33-year-old victim was walking with her mother when she was approached from behind and the bag pulled from her grasp.
She was not hurt and no words were exchanged.
The thief is described as Asian, about 5ft 2in tall and in his late teens or early 20s.
He was wearing a dark, hooded jacket or hat and dark trousers.
A navy blue leather handbag with a press stud fastening, a small amount of cash and reading glasses were taken.
