THE organiser of a stamp, coin and postcards fair in Burnley was disappointed at the poor attendance.

But Roy Cudworth, proprietor of Nationwide Collectors' Fairs, is not licked and will be staging another event in Burnley in March.

Roy, of Huddersfield, said: "This is the fourth fair we have staged in Burnley in the last year and I must admit we are finding difficult to make a breakthrough.

"It is disappointing but we will try again on March 10."

Roy and Kathleen Cudworth have organised collectors' fairs across the north of England, including Altrincham -- where they stage two a month -- Oldham, Stockport and Liverpool.

Two stamp dealers, one coin dealer and a postcard dealer were at yesterday's fair at the Keirby Hote,l where there was only a trickle of visitors during the six hour event.

Mr Cudworth said: "We are trying to get it established here.

"It is a golden opportunity for local collectors to either come along and purchase stamps, coins and postcards or to offer their own for sale."
