LEIGH Centurions have been rocked by the loss of utility back Liam Bretherton, who broke his left wrist during the 35-18 defeat at Whitehaven.
Bretherton left the pitch clutching his wrist midway through the second half and was detained in a local hospital detained overnight pending more treatment.
Half-back John Duffy also received a heavy knock and sustained slight concussion which could keep him out for a couple of weeks.
