COULD someone please tell law-abiding drivers like me exactly what the legal speed limit is on Peel Way, Bury?
Since the introduction of speed cameras there appears to be no speed limit signs from Crostons Road right through to Walmersley Road. I can only assume that this was done to generate revenue from visitors who might reasonably think that, because it is a ring road, the limit would be at least 40 mph. However, I am led to believe that it is only 30 mph. Some clear speed limit signs are needed.
