BLACKBURN Rovers are planning a double celebration for the visit of Fulham on the final day of the season.

Now that Premiership survival has been achieved, Rovers officials are getting ready to put on a survival party at Ewood on May 11 with the parading of the Worthington Cup likely to be the focal point of the celebrations.

Ever since they lifted the Cup in Cardiff on February 24, Rovers have had to put all festivities on ice while they've focused all their energies on securing their place in the top-flight.

Now that safety is guaranteed, Rovers want to mark their double achievement with an end-of-season carnival and chief executive John Williams promises it's going to be a very memorable event.

"It's going to be a special occasion," said chief executive John Williams.

"We've not had the chance to celebrate our Worthington Cup win properly since Cardiff so the plan is to bring the cup out after the game and let the players do a special lap honour.

"We've had a fantastic season and we want to give Graeme and the lads the chance to celebrate that."

Rovers plan to let fans watch the Fulham game for £10 in a bid to make the game a sell-out.
