REPRESENTATIVES of different religions got together to learn more about each other at Jan's Conference Centre, Blackburn.
Muslim leaders explained more about the Muslim faith to Christian leaders at the Living with Islan event.
Abdul Hamid Qureshi, secretary of the Lancashire Council of Mosques, was the main speaker at the Churches Together in Lancashire Forum meeting, which also included the views of a group of young Muslims from Blackburn on education, prayer, life in a Muslim family, plus the role of young women in Islam.
The Rev Dale Barton, inter faith adviser for Churches Together in Lancashire, said: "This was an attempt by Christians in Lancashire to understand their Muslim neighbours better and we are grateful to our Muslim friends for explaining their faith to us."
