I WONDER how many motorist readers have noticed the new, reduced speed limits into Rishton on both Blackburn Road (A678) and Lee Lane (B6535).
They have been reduced from 60 mph to 50 mph and, more importantly, there is the new extended 30 mph section which now starts at the 'Overflow Res' on Blackburn Road and not, as previously, at St Peter and St Paul's Church.
No signs warning of these reduced speed limits are displayed.
How long will it be before the police set up their speed cameras in these areas to catch the unsuspecting motorist?
