Lynx will be looking to bounce back from last Friday night's heartbreaking one point defeat at Sheffield after holding a 17 point lead in the second half only to lose out in the final minute to a converted try from substitute Ian Brown.

Lynx will go to Workington without influential hooker Sarfraz Patel who has received a four match ban after being found guilty of stamping on an opponent at Hunslet. Full back Michael Watts is midway through a month's loan at Super League outfit Warrington Wolves whilst his deputy Paul Wilcock is doubtful with a shoulder injury.

Coach Graeme West has registered three more players to strengthen the squad, they are ex-Widnes half back Lee Connolly, utility player Stephen Heaton from Workington and Ian Speed from amateur outfit Haydock and they all could figure in the squad.

For Workington they will be looking for revenge after suffering a surprise reversal at Victory Park four weeks ago in the National League Cup. They warmed up on Wednesday night with a comfortable victory over local rivals Whitehaven which eased them into the top half of the table.

In the defeat at Victory Park prop forward Hitro Okesene was a constant handful for the Lynx along with pacy centre Neil Frazer whilst player-coach Martin Wood will be looking for a much-improved performance all round.

Lynx will select from: Wilcock, Ormesher, Kilgannon, Crouthers, Yates, Close, Gambles, Street, Roden, Parry, Smith, Hamilton, Bloor, Jones, Grundy, Causey, Stewart, Prescott, Killock, Connolly, Heaton, Speed.
