NORTH West Tory Euro MP David Sumberg is urging all councils in the region to fly the flag of St George at public buildings in support of the England football team.
The former Bury South MP said: "I think it would be an extremely supportive gesture from the North West and would be a great boost to the team as they try and win the World Cup.
"We need to get behind the squad and show how proud we are of our nation."
